State of Indiana with a glass of red wine in center and says. Indiana Winery Guide underneath

Skip to wineries by region:

Explore Indiana wineries and wine destinations by region — perfect for fall and Halloween road trips.

Indiana has wineries and wine destinations scattered across the state, from the Lake Michigan shoreline to the rolling hills of Southern Indiana. To make planning your trip easier, I've organized this guide by region, then town or city, with wineries listed under each location. This makes it easier to see which wineries are close together and create a day trip or weekend wine getaway without unnecessary driving or backtracking.

Fall is one of my favorite times to visit Indiana wineries. Harvest season brings beautiful vineyard views, live music, seasonal events, cozy tasting rooms, and plenty of opportunities to pair a winery stop with fall foliage, pumpkin patches, breweries, festivals, covered bridges, and Halloween activities.

A Note About This Guide

I independently researched and created this list for travelers. The wineries and wine destinations listed here did not pay me to be included, and this guide is not sponsored or endorsed by the wineries unless specifically stated otherwise and may not include every winery in Indiana.

I created this guide to make it easier to discover Indiana wine country and plan fall road trips by geographic area. This is intended as a helpful travel-planning resource rather than a guarantee that every winery currently operating in Indiana is included.

Because wineries can open, close, change ownership, change hours, or operate seasonally, I recommend checking each business's current website or social media before visiting.

📍 Want the Wineries Already Mapped?

I've already researched the wineries in this guide — and for $10, I'll put them all into a personalized Google Map for you.

Instead of searching for each winery, entering addresses, and figuring out which ones are close together, I'll do the mapping for you. You'll receive a link to your map that you can save to your own Google Maps and use right from your phone while traveling.

🍂 Planning Your Indiana Winery Road Trip

One of the best things about exploring Indiana wineries is that you don't have to make every winery its own separate trip.

By grouping wineries geographically, you can turn several stops into a full day or weekend getaway.

Wineries can also be combined with some of Indiana's best fall attractions, including:

🍂 Fall foliage drives 🎃 Pumpkin patches and orchards 🌉 Covered bridges 👻 Haunted attractions 🍺 Breweries 🎪 Fall festivals 🏘️ Historic towns 🌳 State parks 🍎 Apple orchards

A Quick Reminder Before You Go

Indiana's smaller farm wineries can have very different schedules from larger destination wineries. Some may be open only on certain days, operate seasonally, require appointments, or close for private events.

Always check the winery's current website or social media before visiting, especially if you're traveling a significant distance.

This guide was independently researched and compiled for travelers. The wineries listed here did not pay to be included, and inclusion does not mean that a winery has sponsored, reviewed, or endorsed this guide.

Because the Indiana wine scene can change over time, I also recommend confirming current hours, tasting availability, events, and operating status before making your final itinerary.
